The following local contraindications will not prevent treatment but your therapist will avoid the contraindicated area:
Cuts/Abrasions
Bruising/Swelling
Skin Conditions (Eczema, Dermatitis, Psoriasis)
Please seek medical advice prior to booking a Manicure treatment if you have any of the following. Medical permission in writing would need to be obtained:
Undiagnosed lumps and swellings
Please
Infectious skin diseases (Impetigo, Scabies, Chicken Pox or Mumps)
Broken bones
Ringworm
Fungal Nail Infections
Paronychia (whitlow)
Please remove all nail varnish if possible prior to your Manicure appointment
Please ensure you have any Gel polish or any form of nail enhancements removed prior to your Manicure appointment.
Please leave adequate time after your treatment to allow your nails to dry
Nails will be touch dry after 20 mins, allow 1 hour for nails to be fully hardened & avoid putting hands in water for 4-6 hours after appointment (if possible)
Wear protective gloves when gardening or doing housework
Dry hands thoroughly after washing
Daily Cuticle Oil - Massage into the cuticle before bedtime
Hands & Body Moisturising Emulsion - use generously for hands, arms feet & body
Every 2-3 days reapply Brilliance (top coat) after the manicure to maintain your manicure between appointments
After 7 days - Professional Jessica Manicure or remove polish & reapply
Always file natural nails in one direction, with a professional nail file
