Pre-treatment Advice

  • Please attend your appointment free from eye make-up

  • A patch test is not required for eyelash extensions as the glue should never come into contact with the skin; however, please book a patch test if you are worried about sensitivity - we will apply a couple of lashes and use all products that we would during a full treatment. You can book this here.

Aftercare Advice

  • Keep your lashes dry for the first 24 hours

  • Avoid contact with any oils

  • We recommend only using Nouveau Enhance Mascara as this has been specially formulated for use with your eyelash extensions (available in store)

  • We recommend using the Max 2 eyelash sealant 2-3 times a week to condition lashes and strengthen the bond between the lashes and the glue (available in store)

  • Do not perm lashes

  • Do not use a lash curler, as it will break the lash extensions and the natural lashes

  • Do not rub eyes or lashes when washing face. Always pat dry lashes after cleansing

  • To clean your lashes, we recommend that you use Nouveau Lash & Lid Cleanser, that has been specially formulated for use with your lash extensions (available in store)

  • An occasional short visit to a sauna room is fine but regular use could affect the longevity of your lash extensions

  • Please book in to have your eyelash extensions removed in the salon or purchase the Nouveau Lash remover (available in store)

Maintenance

  • Due to the life cycle of a lash being around 90 days, we recommend that your maintenance appointment should be every 2-3 weeks to ensure maximum fullness

  • Not following correct aftercare can cause premature loss and/or damage of lashes
