Microneedling

Microneedling is an advanced skin rejuvenating treatment that uses tiny sterile needles to create punctures or microchannels in the skin. This activates the skin cells natural wound healing process, boosting collagen production, resulting in intense renewal, repair and rejuvenation.

Needles with a depth of 0.5mm and above penetrate the skin creating microscopic traumas, which immediately create an inflammatory or wound healing response within the skin. This helps stimulate collagen and elastin, boosting skin regeneration, so the complexion appears smoother, brighter, firmer and healthy looking.

Yes, the procedure is minimally invasive, and the needles used are very fine, reducing the risk of complications. However, it’s important to follow pre- and post-treatment instructions for optimal results.

Most people experience very mild discomfort during the procedure, the sensation is often described as a light prickling or scratching feeling.

You should begin to see visible improvements from day 3 to day 20. Remodelling will continue from around day 21 up to 12 months or more. 

We don't recommend the use of numbing creams as they can sometimes interfere with the natural sensations that are crucial for effective communication between you and your skin therapist. It is always better to address any discomfort directly and to rely on our professional expertise to ensure a safe and pleasant procedure.

If you do want to apply numbing cream this must be applied at home 20 minutes prior to your appointment.
